The days are getting shorter. Sunset at 7:19.
We'll start a little earlier at 5:45.
No rest stop this week. Bring a full water bottle(s).
Planned after-work road ride from Harter Middle School on a designed road loop to return before dark.
This is a NO DROP ride. While it is likely that cyclists will separate into separate groups during the ride, there will be a sweep for slower riders (must be able to maintain a minimum 16 mph average). You must be comfortable with a fast pace, climbing and riding in pace lines (as allowed). Everyone needs to have the ride course on their GPS/phone and/or a printout of map and cue sheet.
Safety is our top priority! Please be familiar with our safety protocols and cycling rules.
Rear lights mandatory. Front lights are a requirement this time of year as daylight will likely be low by the time everyone returns. High visibility apparel also recommended.
Please bring a change of clothes as many of us will plan post-ride meal and rehydration at a nearby restaurant.
