League of American Bicyclists

For generations past and to come, THE LEAGUE represents bicyclists in the movement to create safer roads, stronger communities, and a bicycle-friendly America. Through information, advocacy and promotion, we work to celebrate and preserve the freedom cycling brings to our members everywhere

Active Transportation Alliance

Active Trans is a coalition of people who are working to make biking, walking and transit safe and easy options for getting around Chicagoland.

Ride Illinois

Ride Illinois is a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving bicycling conditions throughout the state. We are the advocate for all Illinois bicyclists, promoting bicycle access, education, and safety.  We’re working statewide for better bicycling, so you can get out there and Ride Illinois. Take the bike safety quiz here.

Illinois Prairie Path

The Illinois Prairie Path is a multi-use nature trail for non-motorized public use. It spans approximately 61 miles in Cook, DuPage and Kane Counties in northeastern Illinois. A former right-of-way for the old Chicago Aurora & Elgin electric railroad, it was the first U.S. rail-to-trail conversion in the nation in the 1960’s

Rails to Trails Conservancy

Rails-to-Trails Conservancy is a nonprofit organization dedicated to creating a nationwide network of trails from former rail lines and connecting corridors to build healthier places for healthier people

Project Mobility

The Mission of Project Mobility is to make a positive difference in the lives of children, adults and wounded soldiers with disabilities. We provide the services, resources, and equipment needed to promote better health, independence, and the freedom of mobility through adaptive cycling.

In 2020, 31 Fox Valley Team members contributed $1400 in registration fees and donations.  FVBSC is matching the $1400 amount for our collective grand total donation to Project Mobility of $2800!  Club members' generosity helped all seven children that entered the Adaptive Bike Giveaway to receive bikes!  This is the first year that every child that entered has received a bike.

South Elgin Park District

South Elgin's Park District is dedicated to the administration and operation of parks, programs, open space, and recreational facilities that enhance the quality of life for residents and guests of the Village.
