DAY Intermediate 14-16 (50 miles)
This week we have a 50-mile trip from KHMS north to Burlington, rest stop in Maple Park (15 miles), Burlington (30 miles), and wherever we want.
1) Forecast is looking good for the lower-60s - winds out of the northwest - so keeping fingers crossed for a nice tailwind on the return trip.
2) Be ready for ride de-brief at 7:55am, rolling out at 8:00am.
See ya soon!

DAY Intermediate 14-16
Are you looking for a solid yet conversational ride? This Intermediate No Drop ride features an average pace of 14-16 MPH on any combination of trails, neighborhood streets and country roads that may include some elevation and basic pace lines from time to time, at the discretion of the ride leader. Cyclists must be comfortable with a faster pace and some possible climbing. For those new to basic pace lines, the ride leader will guide you through the process.
Mileage will increase throughout the season. Depending upon the ride distance, there may be one or multiple rest stops generally at a gas station or convenience store. This is a No Drop ride, but you will be expected to be able to maintain an overall ride average speed of at least 14 MPH.
Safety is our top priority! Be familiar with our safety and cycling rules; please consider taking the
Bike Safety Quiz
to enhance your safety knowledge.
Registration is required (click REGISTER NOW box), helmets and rear lights are required, front lights and high- visibility apparel are recommended, dress in layers.
