Prairieview Educ Center-Crystal Lake-- luminarias on trail loop thru prairie, bonfire, snacks/hot choc, indoor restrooms, FREE, drop in/sign waiver, avail 5-9pm if conditions allow. See event calendar MCCDistrict.org

Trails groomed when 4" or more snow--BYO skis. If not enough snow, enjoy hike. No pets please.
Check before you go: cancellation may occur if trails are icy, hazardous or windchill drops below -20.

Note--this is the last of 3 candlelight events traditionally held mid wkend Fri/Sat in Dec, Jan, Feb by McHenry County Conservation District. Check back next yr for locations & dates. On a clear night with snow this is a memorable evening especially if it falls on a full moon weekend. Easy hike or ski -go around a second or third time if you wish!
