6:00 PM: Thursday Evening Trail Ride – 14+ mph pace - LIGHTS MANDATORY

Planned after-work road ride from KCGC - Kane County Government Center on a 25.6 mile loop.  98%+ paved. Paths and streets. Road bikes should be fine. Your call. For those living south of Geneva, you could start at the Batavia Riverwalk (BRW) and get a few bonus miles. Just plan to be at KCGC for a 6:00 roll time.

Route:
KCGC-NLoop-026mi-A

This is a Semi-DROP ride. We're not going to leave you in the dark! But for those of you who are familiar with the warm weather, ROAD version of this ride; we'll keep a decent 16-19mph pace. We'll regroup as needed. There are many cross-street opportunities. Having the ride course on your GPS/phone and/or a printout of map and cue sheet is highly recommended.  Due to diminishing daylight, we will definitely be riding in the dark at the end.

Front & Rear lights MANDATORY.  High visibility apparel recommended. Charge those lights and if you have a back-up; you might as well tuck it in the car then your jersey for peace of mind.

Please bring a change of clothes as many of us will plan to visit a local restaurant for post-ride beverages and a meal.

Beverage Destination:
The Evergreen Pub & Grill in St. Charles

Hope to see you there! Night-time, Fall, cool-weather riding is awesome!
