5:45 PM: Thursday Evening Trail Ride – 14+ mph pace - LIGHTS MANDATORY

Planned trail/neighborhood ride from BRW (Batavia RiverWalk) to just south of Thornwood for distance of 25 miles.  Majority of surface is paved except for one section of limestone on FRT near Accenture Center.  Trail/cross bikes recommended but road bikes should be OK.   

Note: 5:45 Start
There is no water stop so please plan accordingly.  


FRONT & REAR LIGHTS MANDATORY.   High visibility apparel recommended.  We may start in daylight but will finish in the dark.


This is a NO-DROP ride.  Cyclists must be comfortable with a fast pace on trails, climbing and riding in pace lines (as allowed). 

Everyone needs to have the ride course on their GPS/phone and/or a printout of map & cue sheet. 

Please bring a change of clothes as many of us will plan to visit Gammon Coach House, 3 S. Batavia Avenue, Batavia, IL for post-ride refreshment.  Please bring a mask.
