6:00 PM: Thursday Evening Trail Ride – 14+ mph pace - LIGHTS MANDATORY

Planned after-work trail/neighborhood ride from Kane County Government Center heading NW for total distance of 27 miles.  There is no water break, so please plan accordingly.

Vast majority of route is paved, but there could be a few sections with limestone/gravel.  Road bikes should be fine, but recommend trail/cross/gravel bike if available.

This will be a relatively fast pace for a trail ride, but darkness will occur before we return.
FRONT & REAR LIGHTS MANDATORY.   High visibility apparel recommended.

This is a NO-DROP ride.  Cyclists must be comfortable with a fast pace on trails , climbing and riding in pace lines (as allowed).  Everyone needs to have the ride course on their GPS/phone and/or a printout of map & cue sheet.

Please bring a change of clothes as many of us will plan to visit Burger Local, 577 S 3rd St, Geneva, IL, for well-deserved post-ride replenishment.  Please bring a mask in case it is required for entry.

Hope to see you there.
