About this event
2025 RAGBRAI isn’t until July 19-25th, so why is this important? This is where everyone will know where the End Town is this year.
The End Town location has a big impact on your plans. Iowa borders the Mississippi River on the west and butts up against Minnesota to the north and Missouri to the south. That’s about a 190 mile distance as the crow flies.
The drive to the end Town can be anywhere between 1hr. 40min to Clinton, IA (shortest drive from the Fox Valley) vs. 4hrs to Lansing, IA (Northernmost past end town) and 4+hrs. to Keokuk, IA (Southernmost past end town). The size of the town impacts hotel options.
Depending on your plans (self-supported, charter service, etc.) you may want to reserve a room at the End Town the night before if you are using one of the charter/bus services to get you and your bike & gear across the state to the Start Town. Also, depending on the mileage and weather on the last riding day; you may want to celebrate your adventure by renting a room Saturday 7/25 and drive home with a good night sleep under your belt. Totally your call.
