Welcome back for our 5th Annual Tour de Tacos!  A club fun-ride favorite! Wear your FVBSC kit and show your club spirit.

There will be a mixture of neighborhood streets, asphalt trails, limestone trails (sometimes with some gravel and/or sandy spots) as we travel the Great Western Trail, the Fox River Trail and the IL Prairie Path.  Road, gravel and cyclocross bikes are fine.  Recommend 28+ tires.  This is not a road race, this is a taco shop crawl on mixed terrain.

This will be a 56-mile mostly trial ride starting at Kline Creek Farm in West Chicago (10:00 am start), then onto Taco Stop #1 in Elgin (Taqueria Chapala), Taco Stop #2 in North Aurora (Juquilita Tacos) and Ice Cream Stop #3  in Wheaton (Kimmers).  Pace will be conversational 13-14'ish MPH and slower/faster subgroups may form.  No drop ride.

Everyone needs to download or print off the route map/cue sheets in case you take a wrong turn.  This is a popular ride with a lot of people to keep track of.  Sometimes gaps in the group form and people have taken a wrong turn before.  We regroup frequently but there is always the risk that someone will go the wrong way ... so please help out the ride leader and sweep by being informed. 

This is a great opportunity to not only enjoy delicious tacos, but also meet fellow club members with whom you may not normally ride.
