Bike & Brew Trails - Advanced 14+
Planned after-work trail ride from Kane County Government Center on mix of trails and neighborhoods heading on northeast loop through Geneva and St. Charles. There is no water stop so please plan accordingly.
About half of this route is on crushed limestone; the other half paved. Cross/Trail bikes strongly recommended but road bikes with wide tires should be OK.
FRONT & REAR LIGHTS MANDATORY. High visibility apparel recommended. We may start in daylight but will finish in the dark.
This is a NO-DROP ride. Cyclists must be comfortable with a fast pace on trails, climbing and riding in pace lines (as allowed). Everyone needs to have the ride course on their GPS/phone and/or a printout of map & cue sheet.
Please bring a change of clothes as many of us will plan post-ride meal and rehydration at The Burger Local, 577 S 3rd Street, Geneva, IL.
