2023 FVBSC Swedish Day Worker's Ride

Thanks to all the volunteers who have signed up to support this year’s Swedish Days Ride. Without you, the event can’t happen. This is our annual THANK YOU outing for you.  We try to make it a special ride, so make sure to sign-up so we have goodies for everyone.
Remember to wear your FVBSC or Swedish Day Ride kit for the photo op! The weather is cooperating!

The 2022 "Early" ride crew


The 2022 "9:00am" ride crew

There will be a 7:00 am faster ride and a 9:00am recreational ride.

7:00 Ride

The early crew will do the Swedish Days GREEN loop of 22.3 miles. Average pace 16-18mph. No rest stop, so fill those water bottles accordingly.

9:00 Ride

We’ll do a slightly modified RED loop which takes us down to Plano for a rest stop at Plano High School. We’ll probably break into 2 groups. A 16-18mph group and then a more recreational paced group. No need to push the pace. It’s not a race. Have fun and have a conversation when traffic permits.

If you did both rides you will be at 53.8 miles. Great! B-U-T you know you want to do a metric century don’t you? Well fill your water bottle and do a nice little ORANGE loop for an extra 12.6 miles and you will be at 66.4 miles. A metric with a few bonus kilometers.
