About this event
For those interested in getting in a full Metric Century on Sunday, this is a “Ride To The Ride” ride. We’ll ride up to Seba Park in South Elgin and join the 8:00am ride group and then head up to Crystal Lake for brunch. Afterwards, it’s back to Batavia through South Elgin. That gets us an additional 11.4 miles each way.
We’ll take the Fox River Trail (FRT) both ways. All paved except for a short section of crushed limestone by the Norris Woods Nature Preserve in St. Charles.
Helmets and rear lights required. Front lights recommended to enhance personal safety. High visibility apparel recommended.
7:15 Roll time sharp! That means a 16+ mph average pace. Plan ahead.
