Holiday Lights Elf Ride 2021

Join our fun holiday season ride as we light up the Fox River Trail from Mill Race Cyclery in Geneva to the Mooseheart Light Show in North Aurora. Traffic will be stopped (bikes only) for our annual ride through Mooseheart. Return on the Fox River Trail back to MRC to enjoy hot chocolate, cookies and other festivities.
This is a casual 18-mile ride with a 12-14 MPH average pace but slower riders are welcome. Several pace groups may form and ride leaders will be available for each subgroup. Nobody gets left behind.
Decorated elves and bikes are strongly encouraged! Prizes awarded for 1-Best decorated elf, 2-Best decorated bike, and 3-Most merry overall.
Front and rear lights required ... the more lights the better, for your safety and to help light up the FRT.
Warm apparel recommended.
Come ready to roll at 4:30 SHARP! Plan ahead. . .
Due to an expected large turnout, please note that there is limited parking at MRC but abundant parking behind Buttermilk. Consider parking at Buttermilk and riding over to the bike shop.
