About this event




Interested in a mid-west challenge with thousands of other cyclists.  Go from West to East across the great state of Iowa while your gear is hauled for you to preset camping sites.  Mileage varies form 40-100 miles each day and total distance is typically 440-500 miles over 7 days.

Although the club is not hosting the event we want to be a resource for questions you may have since a number of club members go each year.  For those going you must register directly at www.ragbrai.com.  Registration IS OPEN.  It closes on 6/11/2025.

You will also want to pick how your gear is transported each day of the week and how you are going to get to the west side of Iowa.  Although it is not required, a number of club members use Pork Belly Ventures for both.  Here is their website: Pork Belly Link .  Pork Belly will sell out and they open for registration on 1/1/2025.

Based on participation, a fun dinner will be coordinated on Friday night at the east side town the night before the shuttle ride.  Please let Gene Roth know if interested in the dinner or if you have any questions.

Sunday - Day 1 - Orange City to Milford

Tuesday - Day 3 - Estherville to Forest City
74.1 miles & 1,308 feet of climbing

Wednesday - Day 4 - Forest City to Iowa Falls
68.3 miles & 1,449 feet of climbing

Thursday - Day 5 - Iowa Falls to Cedar Falls
49.5 miles & 1,262 feet of climbing

Friday - Day 6 - Cedar Falls to Oelwein
38.2 miles & 1,210 feet of climbing

Saturday - Day 7 - Oelwein to Guttenberg
61.2 miles & 2,341 feet of climbing
