8:30 AM: Brisk Road/Trail/Neighborhood Ride - 42 miles

Planned group ride from Kane County Government Center on trails/neighborhoods/paved roads to Oswego for a distance of ~40 miles.  There will be a planned water/coffee stop en route.

Vast majority of route should be paved, though there may be a few spots that are limestone/dirt.  Trail/cross/gravel bikes suggested though road bikes with wide tires should be OK.

This is a NO DROP RIDE at expected pace of 12-14 mph.  Accordion riding expected (riders will separate and regroup (at safe distance) at various points).  Strongly suggest you have a map/cue sheet of the route and/or loaded on your GPS/phone.

Rear lights required.  Front lights and high-visibility apparel strongly recommended to enhance personal safety.

Safety is our top priority!  Please be familiar with our safety protocols and cycling rules.

Please bring a change of clothes as many of us will plan post-ride meal and rehydration at Del Barrio Mezcaleria, 507 S 3rd Street, Geneva, IL 60134.

Hope to see you there!
